Skin Ailment – White Patches

This is a case of a boy aged 12 years who came to Sanjeevani during July 2006 with white patches all over the body. He had severe itching, pain in the legs and had breathlessness. His skin condition was diagnosed as Switram. In his case, the predominant causative factor was Kapha. He was on medication for 5 months. His diet was also regulated. His itching stopped with internal medicines but the white patches remained.

He was then admitted in the Sanjeevani Vaidyasala in January 2007. He underwent Snehapanam and Vamanam treatments. By the end of Snehapanam itself, the patches started fading. After Vamanam, he was on the same internal medicines. All his white patches completely subsided after the treatment.
